1. The two important events are that Tao had to spend the night in the wilderness all alone. Also that he found the little wolf and the little had a splinter of a bone in his tooth and that is why he is not eating anything.

Why do you think Graybeard changed his mind?
What does this tell you about his character?
I think Graybeard changed his mind because he wanted to give him a chance to be able to paint even though he is not the chosen.
What this tells us is that he is a caring and knows that his heart is meant for drawing and painting.

The mountains that walk are like the earth , massive, shaggy old giants, lumbering out of the dawn.
What almost happened to tao was that he almost got killed by the mammoths because he wanted to get food for he whole tribe.

No I do not think that Tao should have "showed of because now they are going to use him so that they could get more food.

What I think will happen is that the hunters will go across the river and look for the wolf dog or some other kind of animal.
